Data for the Internet Site
The site will only be as good as the data on it, so please help me to make it as informative as possible.
To start, please can you all let me have a Newsletter or something similar – the ones already produced by Ray for the under 10’s would be a good template to use. Also, any match reports for games already played, can be posted.
Ideally, anything that you want on the web site should be sent to me electronically as attachments, via email to Avon-A.FC@virgin.net. Please, where possible, use Microsoft Word, Excel etc. for all documents. If you send photographs, please use ‘jpg’ format, and suitably compressed for web publication (up to about 100k). Please send match reports as soon as possible after the match is completed so that we can keep the site as up to date as possible.
Fixtures, I have ‘lifted’ the info from the league web site – please can you check it, and let me know of any inaccuracies.
The Site in General
There is a learning curve for all of us – if I have got anything wrong on the site, I apologise – please let me know. If there is anything you would like to see differently, please also let me know – I won’t promise that I can or will change it, but will certainly consider changes if there is a consensus.
All feedback would be gratefully received.
