Conditions were good and both teams got off to a great start. The teams were evenly matched with both sides attacking and defending well. Some excellent clearances including a great header by Ollie. Shepton Mallett eventually got the first goal towards the end of the first half thanks to a lucky rebound. Despite going into the second half 1-0 down Avon Arsenal were undeterred and continued to play well setting up a series of great passes to provide the forwards with several well aimed shots at goal including a perfectly placed pass by Jamie on the right wing to Theo who volleyed the ball only to be beaten by the post. Benji worked hard in goal and made several excellent saves. Despite the teams best efforts the final score was 4-0 to Shepton Mallet. A great game to watch.
