Bath Arsenal had the better of this game with two second half goals giving them a deserved victory over hard-working Avon Arsenal.
Avon started well and after 5 minutes Caylum had a shot just wide of the left-hand post. However, Avon had to defend heroically against Bath’s lively attack. Benji made several good saves and there was a goal-line clearance by Josh. Avon’s hard work kept things level at half time.
The second half started where the first had finished, with Bath having most of the possession and attacking incisively. Will came off inured after 8 minutes and was replaced by Jamie. Benji made more crucial interceptions but Bath’s superiority paid off with a scrambled goal from a corner, 10 minutes into the half. Avon faded after this and were made to work hard to keep the score at just 1-0. Then Bath got their second just before full time with a shot from the edge of the area.
