A lightning start by Avon saw them take a two-goal lead within 2 minutes. Straight from the kick-off the ball was won by Taity and his through ball found Kaylum turning and chasing on to score the first. The second came after good build-up work by Taity and Henry put Theo through on the left to control and shoot to score the second. The start came as a great surprise to Wells, however they composed themselves and battled hard to be be rewarded with their first goal. Avon responded and after a few minutes of good play, a move put Theo in a good shooting position to score his second. Half time 3:1. In the second half Avon again started positively and George made a great run to score Avon's fourth. Wells again battled on and a parried shot allowed them to score their second. Avon's lead was again extend as Theo completed his hat-trick. Then George reacted quickly to a goalkeeping error and made it six to Avon. Wells never gave up and after an unfortunate deflection the score was 6:3. Benji's good goalkeeping and good defensive work from Camen, Jonathan and Jamie ensured there were no more goals. An excellent team performance by Avon was reflected by the impressive scoreline.
