In yet another closely contested and enjoyable match, Avon took the lead through Jesse after his shot was only half-saved by the keeper and it rolled past the line. After a Paulton equaliser it was end-to-end play, James, Peter and Tom defended extremely well and Max and Ben were full of running in the midfield. After a goalmouth scramble in the second half Jesse was in the right place to make it 2:1. Pressure from Paulton saw them equalise and soon after a shot from a narrow angle squeezed in just by the post. 3:2 to Paulton. Camen, playing in goal kept us in the game as we tried to come back. Our efforts paid off after Felix made a determined run and slid in to poke in the equaliser in the last minute.
