Avon showed a lot of strength in the first half and deserved to go in at the
break at 2-1. Goals from Ben (2) were as a result of good passing and good
teamwork. It was a solid 1st half performance and Avon looked the better team.
The second half was a different story with Peasdown putting a lot of pressure on
Avon. Guy was forced to make a number of saves as Avon kept failing to clear
their lines. Peasdown drew level, which their pressure deserved. Avon went
ahead following a good clearance from Guy and Sam collected and calmly slotted
past the keeper. Unfortunately, Avon decided not to play with a midfield and
this was their undoing! Peasdown's eventually proved too much and got two more
goals.
