Avon Arsenal Comets U10 B vs Team Bath Arsenal B

The B's put in a steady effort against Bath Arsenal B's. Despite some good early efforts the team couldn't manage to take advantage of some good forward play and get the ball in the back of the net. This meant that at half time it was Nil-Nil. The second half started well and with a great break and showing good pace George, beat the defence and slotted the ball into the back of the net. Unfortunately, due to an injury earlier on in play the goal was disallowed (A big thanks has to go to the very pleasant and likeable assistant coach at Bath Arsenal. Without his calm and sensible interference their injured player may not have been up and running after around just 5 mins!). Josh produced a sensational off the line clearance and his Captaincy was well rewarded as he put in a very good performance at full back. Avon eventually paid the price for not clearing the ball and gifted Bath Arsenal an opportunity to slot the ball in. (0-1). Avon just couldn't manage to push on allowing themselves to be put under pressure and thanks to Guy who pulled off another good save to keep Avon in the game. Avon towards the end managed to push on with some good play, but time ran out. Managers quotes 'We woz robbed' Ray Li.
