Vs Team Bath Arsenal A Won 4:2
Goals from Chris(2), Jonathan & Will. Great defending by Ollie.
Vs Team Bath Arsenal B Lost 0:1
Brave Goalkeeping from Guy, Good defence by Josh. Tom had some great efforts on Goal and a good debut from Callum.
Vs Chew Valley A Lost 3:4
Goals by- Sam(2) & Kaylum. Jamie played well in midfield and good defending by Conor
Vs Chew Valley B Lost 0:2
Exciting debuts by Zak and Matt B were not enough to beat a well organised Chew Valley team.
Vs Frome Collegians A Drew 2:2
Birthday boys Ben & Jack played well. Henry notched up 2 goals.
Vs Frome Collegians B Won 5:2
Goals by Matt G and Ayman, A hat-trick from George. A good game in goal by Owen.
Vs Paulton Rovers A Lost 3:4
A very close game, unlucky to lose. Good goals by Theo, Taity and Kaylum.
Vs Paulton Rovers B Drew 3:3
Camen played well in goal. James had a superb game. Max was full of running. Peter had a good game in defence. Goals by:- Jesse(2) & Felix
Vs Wells City A Won 6:3
A superb display! A Theo hat-trick, George(2) & Kaylum scored the goals. Taity bossed the midfield and Benji made some great saves.
Vs Wells City B Lost 5:1
Dale, Zak and Felix worked hard and played well. Ayman finished well for his goal.
Sponsored Track-suit Tops
These are due to arrive on the 30th Nov. My apologies:- the actual cost of the tops will be £7.00 each not £6.50! I forgot to factor in P&P. Some parents have enquired about matching tracksuit bottoms. These are available with the players initials (no club logo) for £11. If anybody is interested I can arrange for an order or get some samples for parents to see.

The Avon Arsenal website is now up and running. www.avonarsenal.co.uk . Many thanks to Tony Dindar for setting this up. On the under 10s section you will find match reports and copies of previous newsletters. The reports only mention the players by their first names. We also plan to add some photos to these pages. If any parent has any objections to first names or photos appearing on the website, please let me know.
If you have internet access, please visit the site. We hope that the other age groups will contribute to the site and that it will develop into an important point of reference for all associated to Avon Arsenal. If anybody has anything they would like to be included on the website (photos, comments, etc) please e-mail to me.
Gregg
Some of you have seen Gregg at training or on the touchline on match days.. He is a student who is studying for a foundation degree in Sports Coaching. As part of their degree students are required to gain experience in community coaching. He specialises in football. We are lucky to have him onboard with us. His enthusiasm and encouragement for the boys is invaluable. He has introduced some new training drills which have been really useful and its good for the boys to have coaching input from other individuals.
